Black & Red 2024
The 32nd Annual Black & Red returned to The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Hartford, generating $2.6 million in support of Hartford Hospital’s mission and breaking previous fundraising records, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of sponsors, donors, and guests.
This year’s beneficiary is Hartford Hospital’s Emergency Department. Among the top 40 busiest in the country, the Emergency Department sees more than 120,000 adult visits each year, is open 24/7/365, and never turns a patient away—no matter their medical condition, ability to pay, or insurance status. Net proceeds from the event will directly support infrastructure, staffing, and the department’s continuous pursuit of providing accessible, equitable, and high-quality healthcare to whoever comes through its doors.
