Max’s Winter Wine Festival

It was a perfect evening for Max’s Winter Wine Festival at the Bushnell Performing Arts Center in Hartford, CT. This event is the first of its kind put on by Max’s Restaurant Group & Max Cares Foundation. The Max’s Winter Wine Festival featured 44 local wine & champagne vendors and all of the Max Restaurants all throughout the Bushnell! All with samples of their best food & drinks for attendees to taste! What fun!

A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit the Max Cares Foundation along with a scholarship program for graduating seniors pursuing a career in hospitality or culinary arts. Max Cares Foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance to nonprofit educational and charitable organizations for the Greater Hartford and Springfield communities.

The event started right at 5:30pm with a VIP Champagne Reception in the Great Hall. This part of the event featured fancy hand passed apps by Max’s Catering and Events. Bites such as Caviar topped deviled eggs, caviar blini’s, a raw bar, and all the best champagne!

As the VIP Reception was finishing up the Bushnell was filled with eager attendees! This delightful event utilized every part of the Bushnell. In the Grand Foyer you could taste some delicious food from Max Fish & Savoy Pizzeria as well as graze on the elaborate charcuterie table. Upstairs in the Seavern’s Room you could find delicious dishes from Max Burger & Max A Mia and another stacked charcuterie table. Throughout the rest of the halls/landings of the Bushnell’s three floors was a sampling of wine from local vendors as well as delicious dishes from the remaining of Max’s amazing restaurants. Tables with offerings from Max Downtown, Trumbull Kitchen, Max Tavern, and Max Oyster Bar. Guests milled about experiencing all the best bites and sips all evening long! There was no shortage of joy, laughter, fun, and audible “Mmmm’s!”

Brian made his way through the event capturing all the joy and splendor all the guests were experiencing. Meanwhile Dominique created her own Professional Photography Studio in the corner of a hallway. Then she made her way to each of the stations to gather one dish from each. We absolutely have loved working with the Max staff through the years. We have provided all kinds of imagery for their uses! Including headshots of the staff, interior photos of their Restaurants, food/product photos, as well as candids of their staff at various events!

One thing that we can say about Max is their team is comprised of the most talented restaurant personnel. However most importantly they are always the most kind, friendly, accommodating, and most pleasurable to work with!

It was such a fun and wonderful evening! It was, without a doubt, a blast photographing the 2024 Max’s Winter Wine Festival!
