Simsbury Inn Wedding

The rain was already falling as we pulled up to the Simsbury Inn! Not the ideal forecast for your Wedding Day, but inside the Inn Caitrin and Trevor did not care in the slightest. They were so excited for their Simsbury Inn Wedding!

We made our way to the bridal suite and Dominique got right to work on details/candids with the ladies! Brian stopped over to see Trevor and the guys! Trevor was getting ready for the big day with the help of his Dad and his Best Man/Uncle! Shortly after, with some help from her mom & sister’s Caitrin was also ready to go! Once both our Bride & Groom were ready we were off to the church to get these two married!

Despite the pouring rain outside everyone was cozy inside the Church of Saint Peter Claver! Caitrin & Trevor put so much thought into making their day special! Robert Kiley, the Bride’s Dad, is Deacon at this Church! Additionally, the Priest for their Wedding Ceremony is the President of Northwest Catholic High School. Caitrin & Trevor met when they attended Northwest & Trevor even proposed in front of the School! Furthermore, all the ladies are in stunning Olive Green dresses – this is a nod to the Bride & Groom’s beloved Cat Olive! Lastly, the addition of the sweetest niece of the Bride/Flower girl & nephews/ Ring Bearers made for the perfect special touches to their day!

Caitrin made her way down the aisle with a smile from ear to ear! The ceremony was lovely and soon they were married!

After recessional, we headed back into the Church for all our formal portraits! As always we started with family photos, then we were onto the Wedding Party photos, and lastly portraits of the Bride & Groom. Then we loaded back onto the bus and headed back to the Simsbury Inn. We did a few more photos inside the Inn utilizing their grand entrance and staircase. As Dominique headed into the ballroom for details Brian made his way into cocktail hour for candids! After cocktail hour the reception began!

Our Bride & Groom made their grand entrance and shared a loving first dance together as Husband and Wife! Next Caitrin’s siblings all gave a wonderful and heartfelt speech, followed by another amazing speech from Trevor’s Uncle, and some touching dances with their parents. Next our couple cut their Wedding Cake! DJ Christie was playing all the best jams and the dance floor was filled with happy guests all night long!
