Fox Hopyard Wedding

It was finally the day! We went through the planning stages with Jen and Perry, and really got to know them on their engagement shoot, worked with them on the various steps of Wedding Prep and finally it was time! The day of their Fox Hopyard Wedding had arrived! It was a wonderful spring day and the sun was shining.

Brian arrived at the On The Rocks Restaurant at Fox Hopyard in East Haddam. Jen was onsite getting all fancied up for her big day. As she admired her make up in the mirror she smiled a most genuine smile of pure happiness! Then it was time for her to get in her dress.

After she was fully dressed and adorned with her wedding day jewelry it was time for her to see her groom! We headed out to a scenic spot along the grounds of Fox hop yard. Where Perry was waiting. Jen tapped him on the shoulder and soon they were in each other’s arms! They were so happy to see each other and they were ready for their big day ahead.

We made our way back to the ceremony location where all their closest friends and family were waiting. As we worked through the formal family portraits guests were starting to arrive! After those portraits were complete it was time to get ready to be married! Jen’s adorable grandmother was the efficient for their ceremony. They made their way to the end of the aisle and said their vows, exchanged their rings, and soon they were husband and wife! After a big group shot of their intimate group of guests everyone headed inside to enjoy a lovely midday meal together.

Jens father started the toasts and thanked everyone for coming to this joyous occasion! (Even in the middle of a pandemic)! After Perry’s brother followed with a heartfelt and very funny toast to the newlyweds.

As the wonderful staff were distributing dinner we took the moment to grab our Bride & Groom and head outside for final portraits. Then in they went to get back to their delicious meal and the rest of their evening celebrating!
