It was a very brisk November day and we were in the happiest of moods! Because we were on our way to South Windsor for a Maneeley’s Wedding! We have worked with and at Maneeley’s many times for all kinds of activities and we just love how accommodating, professional, organized, and kind their staff is! Despite the cold weather we knew were in for a magnificent day! We were eager to see our bride and groom and be a part of their special wedding day!

Does anyone remember Rachel and Justin from their Gutt Farm Engagement shoot? We had such a blast with them on their shoot that we knew their wedding day was going to bring all kinds of fun!

We arrived at Maneeley’s right on schedule! Where Rachel’s wedding gown, shoes, jewelry, bouquet, and the wedding bands were waiting for us! As planned Rachel’s sweet father had dropped off all of her detail items so Dominique could get right to work on her detail photos! Brian made his way over to where Justin and his guys were hanging out and getting ready. As we were finishing up Rachel and her ladies were arriving onsite! All went splendidly at the salon that morning and they were looking stunning!

Once the ladies were settled in it was time to get Rachel in her wedding gown! With help from her mom she was ready in no time and it was time for some portraits of the beautiful bride before she was off to see her soon to be husband for the first time!

We were hit with the cold as soon as we stepped outside but it did not bother Rachel she was way too excited! Once she was in place it was time to get Justin! As the moms watched from afar. Once hand in hand they paused for a minute and then the big moment took place! Their faces lit up and they each smiled ear to ear as soon as they saw each other! They both admired each other’s wedding looks and reflected on the special commitment they were about to make to each other.

Then it was time for family photos! We quickly ran through all the important posing combinations including all the special people to Rachel and Justin. As we finished up with each person they made their way inside to warm up and send out the next group! We loved the nod to Rachel and Justin’s farm style engagement photos as all ladies had adorable plaid pashminas to keep warm! We had the perfect amount of time left to get some stunning portraits of Rachel and Justin. Then it was time to head inside and get ready to Get Married!

Ceremony was set up inside to keep all their guests comfortable as they said I Do! Ceremony was beautiful and their flower arch along with the twinkling wall of lights made a pretty background for them to exchange vows. They uniquely included a tree planting ceremony to symbolize the two becoming one. They plan to plant the tree at their home and watch it grow alongside their love for each other! Following the ceremony Rachel & Justin and all their wedding party and family made their way back into the bridal suite as ceremony set up was cleared and guests began to enjoy cocktail hour.

A fun fact we found out was that Justin is a very talented wood worker so of course their cake and various reception details reflected that! How adorable! After a toast to the newlyweds we all made our way outside to get some extended family photos. We could not forget about the grandparents and all their special aunts and uncles! Then as we finished up those important photos the sun was settling into that sweet spot of perfect golden lighting. Right in time for some more stunning portraits of the bride and groom.

Next it was time for intros, first dance, and speeches! As dinner was coming out we completed our group photos and Brian went around to each table and took his fun couples photos! After was cake cutting complete with a saw for their tree stump cake! Their parent dances were next and they we’re spectacular… Rachel and her dad shared a perfectly choreographed number that left the audience in awe.

After guests posed with props for the photo booth and danced into the night! Congratulations to Rachel and Justin we loved every minute of your special day and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
