Black & Red 2025

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our sponsors, donors, guests, and the Tallwood Family, Hartford Hospital hosted its most successful Black & Red to date by raising an unprecedented $6 million in support of Hartford HealthCare’s Center for Education, Simulation & Innovation (CESI) at Hartford Hospital. Held Saturday, May 10, 2025, at The Bushnell, the sold-out gala welcomed close to 1,200 supporters and showcased Hartford HealthCare’s commitment to accessible, world-class care.

CESI is an international destination for training, education, and medical device development and one of the largest and best equipped medical simulation centers in the country. The center provides advanced training to over 21,000 individuals annually—including physicians, nurses, military personnel, first responders, and K9 officers. The net proceeds from Black & Red will support a much-needed investment in cutting-edge infrastructure, state-of-the-art equipment, and expert programming. Since 1992, Black & Red has raised more than $35 million in support of Hartford Hospital and its transformative programs.
