Happy Friday all! Last Friday we shared Molly & Rob’s Hartford Club Wedding from July. But while Dominique and Nick were photographing Molly and Rob’s special day Brian and Lindsay were photographing Jenna and Kevin’s Great River Country Club wedding!

When Brian and Lindsay left the studio the car’s thermometer was already showing a sweltering 85 degrees. As they hit the Merit headed toward Stratford the temperature was already up around 90!

They arrived at the Homewood Suites in Stratford and made their way toward where Jenna was! After some lovely detail pictures and getting ready shots it was time to head over to the country club for the first look!

Jenna and Kevin were so eager to see each other! We found the perfect spot for first look! With gorgeous trees and rolling hills in the background they saw each other for the first time! After sharing a moment alone it was time to start with the wedding party and family photos! With the temperatures up around 100 degrees it was important to try and find some shade and work quickly! We captured all the important family and wedding party set ups so we could head inside for a little to cool down before returning outside for ceremony.

Soon guests were arriving and before long it was time for the ceremony to begin! Kevin took his place at the top of the aisle with his groomsmen by his side as each of the ladies made their way down the aisle. The music changed and everyone rose as Jenna and her dad started their walk down! After some brief words they sealed their new marriage with a kiss and were recessing back down the aisle as husband and wife! Jenna let the tears of happiness fall as she walked – how sweet!

The newlyweds hopped on the back of the golf cart with their favorite beers awaiting them for a celebratory cheers and a quick ride off to the waterfall for some portraits together.

Finally we were out of the scorching heat and into the venue! Jenna and Kevin were announced and entered the reception while the rest of the guests cheered! They went right into their first dance as husband and wife! What a sight – their dance was breathtaking!

Next up we’re some very special speeches. Jenna’s dad, the maid of honor, the best man, and Kevin’s dad all spoke so beautifully! Jenna could barely hold back her tears! After the speeches we ran through some important group photos then onto the parent dances! Next it was time for them to cut their wedding cake! After Mark the shark let the music take over and everyone danced the night away!
