It was a lovely Friday for the wedding of Melissa & Brian in Mystic, CT. There’s nothing like pouring rain on your wedding day! But who couldn’t use a little good luck on the day they say I Do? That is exactly what our couple had for the rain made for some super fun photos!

The couple shared a touching first look which was truly beautiful to be present for. The weather did not bother our carefree and fun bride Melissa! She provided the bridesmaids with adorable umbrellas which they rocked effortlessly. Her and Brian enjoyed taking a little while to brave the elements and even used her bridal charm to her advantage when asking a kind fisherman if we could take photos on his boat!

Cocktail hour followed on the gorgeous tented patio with scrumptious hors d’oeuvres provided by the fabulous Coastal Gourmet. Introductions were entertaining to say the least… what a lively wedding party! Followed by their First Dance which was breathtaking.

Maid of Honor Kelsie shared a fun anecdote about the Bride & Groom’s romantic first meal together of Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets and surprised the couple when Kimberly of Coastal Gourmet placed a nice plate of Dino Nuggets on the sweetheart table to commemorate this important day in the couples relationship. The Best Man Dylan had the crowd laughing uncontrollably as he shared other fun stories about the couple.

As the rain continued on into the night it did not stop any of the guests who danced their hearts out on the dance floor! It was an all around amazing wedding and an honor and blast to photograph!
