Ron’s Run 2022

Ron’s Run for the Roses is a Kentucky Derby day charity gala. This event raises awareness and funding for pancreatic cancer medical research, education and patient care. The first Ron’s Run for the Roses was held in 2009. This event was a backyard party with 75 guests, in memory of Ron Foley who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2005.
In the years since the first gala Ron’s Run has moved to the beautiful Folly Farm in Simsbury. The event has grown to over 450 attendees and raised over $3 million to help fight pancreatic cancer.

The Ron Foley Foundation‘s Mission:

● Fund medical research leading to earlier diagnosis, more effective treatment and a cure for pancreatic cancer.
● Promote public awareness of pancreatic cancer through education.
● Reduce suffering caused by pancreatic cancer by giving direct financial aid to pancreatic cancer patients in need.
