Elizabeth Park Engagement Shoot

It was a beautiful Saturday morning! We were feeling great from a wonderful wedding the day before! We arrived at Wickham Park promptly at 10am and as per usual in 2020… a COVID related park hours change made us change our plans! Thinking quickly we decided to switch locations! We drove on toward West Hartford and got ready for a beautiful Elizabeth Park engagement shoot!

Elizabeth Park was stunning! Their gardens were in bloom and the weather was perfect. Our couple, Kelly & Ryan were so excited to begin their shoot! We quickly found out that these two are most easy going and happy couple! They told us of all the  COVID related changes to their plans so far this year and as they did they still had a smile on their faces. They also explained how after dating for so many years they’re comfortable with just rolling with the punches. How lucky they are to have a love so untouched by change and a bond so strong!

As we walked, photographed, talked, and laughed we learned of how Kelly and Ryan met. They were both working at Rein’s Diner in Vernon. From their first jobs there to their current careers both have dedicated their careers to helping others! Kelly as a traveling nurse and Ryan as a nutritionist. It is amazing to hear of how through the years they have both grown so much together and been there for each other.

Their relationship is so pure and their love is so evident in everything they do! Everyone PLEASE wear your masks so these two can have the wedding of their dreams next year at the Wadsworth Mansion!
