Glastonbury Baby Shower

It was a busy Sunday morning for Brian Ambrose Photography! The day started out with a family portrait at Riverfront Park followed by a Glastonbury Baby Shower! Believe it or not this was the first Baby Shower we have photographed! Over 36 years in business and there are still firsts to be had! Since a baby shower is similar in photo coverage to a bridal shower we were confident that we were up for the task! After a wonderful family portrait we finished up just in time to make it over to Max Fish early! The guest of honor – Michelle – was glowing with “baby on the way delight” and ready for all her friends and family to arrive. Her mom was hanging decorations and perfecting each table setting in preparation!

After some detail photos of the Under the Sea shower theme it was time for some stunning portraits of the mom-to-be! Then guests arrived and the celebration began!

A bit a backstory for you on how we got to know the mom & dad-to-be! Michelle grew up with Brian’s daughter Chelsea (pictured below!) and called Brian just as soon as she booked her baby shower location! By another coincidence, Brian was out and about Glastonbury taking photos of a demolition project in town when he got to talking with some of the on-site workers. They requested to see the photos he had been taking and so Brian handed one of them a business card. This same gentleman then went home and handed the business card over to his wife. She informed him that Brian is in fact Brian Ambrose, Chelseas’s dad & local photographer. Soon the Dad-to-be made his appearance and we had a laugh about what a small world it is!

Congratulations to the parents to be! We cannot wait to meet your bundle of joy and capture all the special memories of your growing family!
