Stonington Engagement Shoot
Everyone – it is Wedding Week for these special people! What better way to celebrate than to showcase Patricia & Evan’s Stonington Engagement Shoot!
We met Trish & Evan down at the Lighthouse Museum & DuBois Beach one Friday morning in October! The weather was PERFECT for photos! It was a bit overcast, not too cold but chilly enough to cuddle in close and ditch their jackets for some scenes.
We started down at the beach! Some snuggly poses are always our favorite to warm up! Next we walked up from the beach to the Lighthouse Museum, through the gardens, down by the water/docks, and over to their favorite spot downtown – Noah’s! This restaurant is a Stonington Staple since 1979! Trish & Evan could not say enough nice things about it and planned to head there after their shoot! Of course we loved their mural outside and had to use it for photos!
After we decided to take a short stroll around the block and to the green in search of Fall colors! Sure enough we found some! All kinds of reds, yellows, and even some green hanging on to the trees! Success!
As we walked & talked it was obvious the kind of calm, patient, and gentle manner in which these two love each other. After our initial Wedding consultation with them we loved their vibe already! Their Wedding Day is to include their closest circle of friends and family. No chaos of a Wedding Party or too many extra moving parts. Simple – in the best way.
A day all about celebrating their love!
In short, we cannot wait to see their vision come to life on Saturday at the Wadsworth Mansion!
