Our 2019 wedding season is well underway! But we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share our last wedding from our 2018 wedding season! So here it is – Sarah and Luke’s Winter Pond House Wedding from the end of December!

Sarah and Luke are an amazing couple! It is rare that we meet our bride and groom for the first time on wedding day. But when your bride and groom are super awesome and live in Tokyo then that is the case! These two are avid travelers and Luke is from Australia! We were connected to this couple through Sarah’s mom Jeanne and we couldn’t be happier!

Sarah and Luke’s wedding was all about fun, love, and happiness and what is better than that? We met at the pond house and got started right away with detail photos and photos of Luke and his groomsmen. Our timing was perfect as once we completed those Sarah was arriving and it was time to get the first look underway!

Despite the cold of December our bride and groom were willing to tough the weather! We were able to do the first look outside and it was a gorgeous setting for this beautiful moment to unfold. Luke was so excited to see his stunning bride and Sarah her handsome groom! After the bride and groom were tucked out of side so that the guests could filter in and find their seats.

Ceremony took place inside the pond house in front of their stunning and grand ceiling high fireplace fully decorated for the holidays! After a touching ceremony Sarah and Luke were husband and wife! They led their recessional directly outside for formal family and wedding party photos.

Once formal photos were complete we were back into the pond house for the reception. A riled up crowd welcome the newly weds into the reception room! Next guests listened to some amazing speeches from the maid of honor, best man, the parents, and the groom himself. After it was time for the Sarah and Luke to share their first dance as husband and wife. At the conclusion of their dance Mark the Shark of Shark entertainment kicked off the dancing for the rest of the evening!
