The day had finally come! It is always nice when our clients involve us in their whole wedding planning process. That way we can watch their special day grow and evolve! That was just the case with Kaitlyn & Matt and their Geer Tree Farm Wedding!

When we arrived onsite on their Wedding Day excitement filled the air! We made our way to where Kaitlyn and her ladies were getting ready and started in on our photos right away! Then Brian made his way over to where Matt and his groomsmen were getting ready! He was again greeted with smiles and excitement from everyone! After hanging with the guys for a little it was time to get Kaitlyn in her beautiful wedding gown! Between her mom, MOH, and sister she had no shortage of hands to help her! Soon she was looking stunning and ready to go!

Kaitlyn’s dad Ray was patiently awaiting his first look at his beautiful daughter and enjoying the overlook of the beautiful tree farm below. She walked up to him she tapped him on the shoulder and they were overcome with emotion! Kaitlyn’s mom and sisters were hiding behind a nearby tree to watch everything unfold!

Then it was time for Kaitlyn to see her groom! Once they were both in place it was a very emotional moment to watch unfold. From the moment their hands met Kaitlyn started to tear up. Then the excitement took over as soon as they were face to face and admiring each other’s bride & groom beauty! After that it was the perfect time to get all our formal family and wedding party pictures completed. What a great group there was laughter and fun throughout all of these photos! Then it was onto portraits of the bride and groom.. with a special appearance by their Flower girl Zoey (Their adorable Great Dane Pup)!

After it was time for ceremony! The ceremony was set up on the edge of another gorgeous lookout of the tree farm! With some beautiful vows and a kiss to seal their marriage they were husband and wife! We did a quick group set up right at the end of the aisle to get all the guests into one beautiful picture before they filtered off into cocktail hour.

Next it was onto introductions and then it was time for the bride and groom to share their first dance as husband and wife! What a fantastic dance it was! It was beautifully choreographed and they did not miss a beat! Their dance was followed by a special speech from the bride’s dad. Next we seized a few quiet moments as dinner was being served to take the bride and groom outside of the tent at sunset! The sky was gorgeous and with our gorgeous couple we were able to capture some truly stunning photos!

Afterwords the best man and maid of honor gave amazing toasts and then Kaitlyn and her dad took the dance floor for their father and daughter dance. They were followed by Matt and his mom Donna for their special mother and son dance. After cake cutting everyone was free to let loose and dance their hearts out! Indeed, they did!
